I think it should be known to all that I love my friends, and that Sam and Lellen are my secret lovers and I wouldn't give them up for ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. Sorry I broke on you today, I love you.

And I was happily working on my Music Theory project (still listening to the Dartmouth Aires, ironically), and all of a sudden I notice there's a quiet male a capella warming up outside the window. All is well and good, until, just like with Sam the other week, Fall-Out Boy is being sung in a high-pitched, rather nasally male voice.

Suffice it to say:

::twitch::

And now they're singing "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain.

::convulses and turns Dartmouth Aires on louder::

Sorry Mary Wash, you can't compete with the Ivy Leagues...

I was just feeling rather emo and angry while listening to my Dartmouth Aires CD (an a capella group), and their cover of Under Pressure came on. Suddenly I had this wonderful, amazing image of a dozen drag kings doing a capella with Johnny and Harrison singing in the front. Really, there are some mental images that words cannot do justice. This one's at the top of the list.

Aaaaaand I'm fixed.
